Yes, that one word.
That one word is all that I'm going to blog about today.
Initiative is the first step towards something. The first step towards success, popularity, stardom, love, peace, wealth and what not. More often than not, however, that is the most difficult part of the journey. Whilst people might tell you horror stories of the journey of their life, in reality, the greatest difficulty is to start.
What makes this so difficult? I personally believe that it is the nonstop opinions and stories being provided by every other person. Just because they managed to come to the top, unscathed by the cruelties of of life, doesn't mean that they have earned the right to give out lessons on life. The one thing that holds someone back from taking a step forward towards fulfilling their dream is the fear of failing. One of my favorite quotes comes from a movie I watched way back, as a kid.
Having said that, and wondering how painfully cliche all this sounds, I must bid goodbye. So off you go, all of you, take that first step today. Don't wait too long, because one day you might simply wake up to realize it's too late!

Even more importantly, you shouldn't worry about making it to the end. It's what you learn through the way which is more important.
